From the Transformers trilogy, we remember the red and blue truck called Optimus Prime and the yellow Chevrolet Camaro, alias Bumblebee, the most. Bumblebee is the first car and faithful companion of movie hero Sam Witwicky, who is played by Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf in the hit movies. The special thing about Bumblebee: he transforms from a car into an alien (Autobot).

The elegant “007-Aston

James Bond got into many sports cars, luxury cars or other means of transportation over the years. But there’s only one vehicle that keeps popping up, and it embodies 007’s spy charm like no other. The Aston Martin DB5 embodies British elegance on the one hand and shoots machine guns hidden behind its headlights on the other.

“K.I.T.T. i need you”

This sentence knows everyone who is a fan of the series “Knightrider” with David Hasselhoff was. K.I.T.T. is the name of the black Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, which among other things can also talk. Equipped with all sorts of technical features and artificial intelligence, he was always at the side of series character Michael Knight. Trademark of K.I.T.T. is the red LED bar on the front, whose lights flash from left to right and back again.

Bertie and his Manta

Berti, Uschi, Gerd, Klausi and in the middle of it all the yellow-turquoise Opel Manta – with the film “Manta Manta” Til Schweiger started his career on the big screen in 1991. As Bertie and a die-hard Manta driver, he takes on Mercedes, Golf GTI and co. in rows and shares this passion with his buddies Gerd and Klausi. Along the way, he fights for his girlfriend Uschi, who makes him jealous with disco owner and Ferrari driver Helmut. Always at Bertie’s side is the tuned Manta.

The time machine

What would the movie characters Marti McFly and Doc Brown have been without their DeLorean. Converted into a time machine, the two experience countless adventures with the Delorean DMC-12. Sometimes it drives, sometimes it travels to the future or the past, and sometimes it even flies: the DeLorean definitely has cult status.

This quote comes from the legendary movie “Ghostbusters” from 1984. Bill Murray alias Dr. Peter Venkman and his three companions were always and constantly on the hunt for ghosts and monsters. Thereby they demanded a lot from their Cadillac Ecto-1. In some curves you almost felt sorry for him as a spectator, when the car scraped the asphalt and threatened to tip over. But as a mission vehicle, it thrilled an audience of millions, as did the actors.

The Batmobile

It is the only science fiction car in our list that has been embodied by more than one car. The Lincoln Futura from 1966 was the first Batmobile and is therefore representative for the following ones. Comics, movies or series – the black avenger Batman chased after villains like the Joker with his Batmobile.

The 1983 GMC Vandura is the mobile command center of the legendary A-Team. Cornel Hannibal Smith made his plans to fight injustice and help the helpless. And he loved it when one worked. Together with his team of ex-military men Face, Murdock and B.A. he survived countless adventures was always victorious. B.A. gave as a driver of his “baby” Always watch out for the GMC and don’t let anyone even scratch it.

Definitely “The Furious

Vin Diesel alias Dominik Toretto can be seen in many parts of the successful series “The Fast and the Furious” in his black Dodge Charger R/T. A swank car with a V8 engine and a sound that gives men goose bumps. The car has so much power under the hood that it threatened to tear it apart during acceleration in some scenes.

The dangerous horror car

“Christine” is the 1958 Plymouth Fury that gave its name to Stephen King’s novel. In the film adaptation, teenager Arnie “falls in love” with the Fury. As a result, his life changes abruptly. Initially shy, he becomes an aggressive snoot who goes on a vendetta with Christine against college bullies and co. Christine seems to develop a dangerous life of her own in King’s thriller. Christine went down in history as a horror car.
