Tehran-Ankara-Damascus: Unholy Alliance

Rojava, the Basic Democratic Experiment in Northern Syria, chases the regime of the region a Heidengest – and tits them to a reactionar alliance

A few days ago, the complex Syrian multi-FRONTENBURGER WAR was extended by another front section. For the first time in the history of the Syrian burger war bombarded on the 18th. August Assad regime fighters of the Syrian Kurds in the north of the country in revenue, in the city of Hasaka shared between regime and Kurdish self-government. Previously, fierce battles have been reported between Kurdish policepers and regimenemilizers from the city.

Both conflict areas – the years of a breakful informal non-aggression pact followed each other to have succeeded in the youngest escalation. And both sides does not seem to be located on an escalation: the regime is inhamed in Hasaka, while the Kurdically dominated Democratic Powered Syria (SDF) have contracted a coarse part of their army, especially in the fight against the Islamic state west of the Euphrate. Most recently Manbij could be released by the horror’s rule of the Jihadists (Syria: Manbij from IS), while ready for preparations for the offensive on Al Bab, Northern Aleppo, are met (Turkey urges after the conquest of Manbij).

The air raids and the purposeful artillery shot of the regime in Hasaka, however, were ahead of hectic diplomatic activities in the region that can brighten the sudden outbreak of hostilities in Northern Syria. On the 18th. August reported Russian media that the formation of a far-reaching geopolitical alliance between Turkey, Iran and Syria was almost completed.

That "Kurdish problem"

The dropping movements of Turkey from the Western camp, which have been moved from the Western camp, which were mainly in the current tension between Ankara and Washington manifest, seem to be solidified. Most recently, Turkey came with its large regional rivals, Iran, to a general strategic treatment, which had the content equalization in Syria. Two main dots of the deal between Tehran and Ankara emphasized the Turkish Minister Prosident Binali Yildirim: retention of the territorial intimination of Syria and a government in which all "Religions are represented".

The second point clearly indicates a division of Syria in Turkish-Sunnitical and Schiite-Alewitische Rauffhharen, to the creation of a functional zombie state such as Bosnia-Herzogowina, which is divided by religious and ethnic gettos. But the first point is crucial: It is both the Shiite Islamists in Tehran like their Sunni competitors in Ankara to extract the base democratic experiment in northern Syria with all the power. This is the only common denominator who fueled the unholy alliance of the regimes of the region.

The Turkey, who was still invited to the West a few months ago to support a militar intervention in Northern Syria, now wants to prevent the establishment of a social alternative to Islamism and State terror in the region with all the power. A Kurdish self-government is in Northern Syria "not possible", explained Yildirim openly before the appeal of the AKP.

Russian media named even clearer, which drives this alliance of reactions in the region. A geopolitical covenant between Russia, Syria, Turkey and Iran is crucial to reach a solution of conflicts in the Middle East explained the Russian Turkey expert Alexander Sotnichenko opposite Sputniknews.

But at the same time "Support the Turkey on the one hand and Russia and Iran on the other hand different pages in the Syrian conflict". That "Kurdish problem" be the "common ground", On which a Turkish-Iranian covenism is founded, Stanislav Tarasov declared from the Russian East Caucasus thinking factory. Both regimes are about that "Territorial integrity" to preserve their state apparatus, says Tarasov. Especially for the Islamists in Ankara job "Kurdish problem" the "key matter" dar.

And it was just this "Keen problem", that the adoption between the regimes in Damascus and Ankara motivated, which already clearly marked in mid-July (Turkey wants to normalize relations with Syria). It is therefore to be amed that the youngest attacks of the Syrian regime represent only the first phase of a coordinated between Ankara, Tehran and Damascus premieres against Rojava.

It’s not just about Kurdish independence effects. Ankara has developed, for example, relatively good relations with the Kleptocracy of the Barzani Clan in Northern Iraq, while Barzani expresses an independent Kurdish state.
