Koln, 28. October 2009 – A new variant called R-Design offers Volvo from the year end of the XC60. The athletic equipment line for the compact SUV is in FUNF engine and two drive variants.
The R-design models differ from sporting body attachments and an exclusive interior of the common variants. From Augen, among other things, the XC60 R design can be recognized by Matt-Silver Diana Mirror-Hopic, Trim Strips and a R-Design Logo on the Grill. A underrun protection, sill sills in alulook and a double exhaust system with chromed tailpipes support the dynamic appearance. There are also 18-inch alloy wheels in the Funf spoke design. The interior is enhanced by a leather equipment and various aluminum inserts in the center console, the turver cloths and the steering wheel. A sports suspension ensures improved driving dynamics.
Nearly 3000 euros surcharge
The XC60 R design can be optionally with four-wheel or front drive and can be combined with all five motorizations of the series. The range includes six-cylinder gasoline engine with 238 and 285 hp as well as diesel aggregates with 163 and 205 hp. A thrive variant trimmed on thrive with pure front drive and 175-hp diesel is supplemented by the offer. The surcharge for the R-Design package amounts to 2995 euros compared to the equipment line Kinetic, built on the R-Design. The XC60 2.4D Drive R-design thus starts at 37.885 Euro, the top version XC60 T6 AWD Geartronic R-design costs at least 47.735 Euro.
